Warehouse Supervisor Location: Northampton Hours: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday Salary: £14/h Shift: 10pm till 7am About the Role As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards, and ensuring timely dispatch of consignments. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure all deliveries are accurately checked, scanned, and prepared for dispatch to meet customer expectations. Support the Warehouse Shift Manager in implementing new processes and technologies to improve efficiency. Maintain strong communication with supervisors across shifts to ensure smooth handovers. Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and one-to-one coaching sessions. Identify and address any training gaps within the team. Oversee disciplinary procedures, investigate accidents, and resolve escalated complaints. Foster strong relationships across departments, including Transport, Customer Service, and Administration. What We're Looking For Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Proven experience in managing a team. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
