Claims Consultancy Handler - Remote Opportunity
Overview
The role involves managing various motor claims, including Accidental Damage, Third-Party Repairs, Indemnity Recoveries, Liability Disputes, Credit Hire, Personal Injury, and FOS Complaints. We encourage candidates with diverse experiences to apply, even if they haven't covered all areas.
You will work with specialist clients in the motor claims sector and be encouraged to develop multi-disciplinary claims knowledge across motor, property, employers’ liability, and public liability claims.
How you'll make an impact
* Manage a portfolio of motor claims across various areas, working with client-specific systems and procedures.
* Review and record claims, check policy coverage, and allocate appropriate codes and reserves.
* Conduct liability inquiries, evaluate quantum, and negotiate settlements within authority levels.
* Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries, and review claims regularly to ensure accuracy and timely closure.
* Build strong client relationships, liaise with solicitors, and assist with general office administration.
* Comply with Gallagher Bassett and client procedures.
About You
* Cert Cii / Dip Cii preferred but not required.
* Ability to analyze coverage, investigate claims, and build rapport with involved parties.
* Determine liability, develop resolution strategies, and manage reserves proactively.
* Understand litigation processes and identify settlement opportunities early.
* Communicate clearly and build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
