Chef de Partie
Oxford – £27,067 per year + overtime rate
Monday to Friday,07:00 – 15:30
Occasional Saturdays, around 6 a year
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join a busy catering team producing around 900 meals a day. You’ll be part of a brigade of 25, including 6 chefs, working in a modern kitchen with a strong team spirit.
Main responsibilities:
* Running your own section and maintaining high food and safety standards
* Preparing and serving meals for breakfast, lunch and hospitality events
* Supporting with menu cycles, food preparation and service
* Assisting with functions and occasional weekend work on a rota
* Covering reduced hours during school holiday periods
What we’re looking for:
* NVQ Level 2 in Food Production (or equivalent)
* Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
* A chef with a real passion for food and high standards
* Experience in busy, high-volume kitchens
* Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
What we offer:
* £27,067 annual salary
* Overtime at £21.06 per hour
* Daytime hours – Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
Important:
* Must be willing to take An Enhanced DBS check if succuesful as it is required for this role.
