We're seeking a passionate Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of digital solutions that enhance our services and positively impact the lives of thousands across the UK.
The Role
As Product Owner, you'll bridge the gap between our vision and the technical execution of our products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital solutions align with our company goals of delivering exceptional service and social value.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Backlog Management: Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and focus on delivering maximum value
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met
* Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, set clear goals and ensure timely delivery of products and services
* Continuous Improvement: Analyse product performance, gather user feedback and iterate, to enhance product quality and user satisfaction
What We’re Looking ForExperience
* A minimum 2+ years’ proven experience as a Product Owner, or translatable role – preferably working within Agile environments
* Public Sector experience considered advantageous, but not essential
Skills
* A strong understanding of Agile Methodologies, excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable tasks and requirements
o Qualification in Agile practices would be advantageous, but not essential
* The ability to prioritise work and requirements effectively, taking into account impact, resource, value and risk
Tools
* Familiarity with Product Management and Development tools
o Aha! or Azure DevOps experience would be advantageous
