Role Overview
The General Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions across the business. This includes supporting production, logistics, quality, and other teams with clerical tasks, data entry, and communication duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to all departments.
* Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems.
* Assist with production paperwork.
* Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and documentation.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers, and couriers regarding orders and deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting).
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Previous knowledge of ISO standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable
* Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or terminology.
* Familiarity with health and safety documentation.
