Overview
You will take a leading role working closely with Managers across health and social care, service user groups, suppliers and practitioners within Tameside MBC and Tameside ICB. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) on a day-to-day basis, with robust interfaces to all partners and clinicians.
Responsibilities
* Take a leading role working with Managers across health and social care, service user groups, suppliers and practitioners within Tameside MBC and Tameside ICB.
* Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) on a day-to-day basis.
* Ensure interfaces with all partners and clinicians are robust.
* Provide specialist advice on a vast range of Community Equipment and stay abreast of equipment development and best value.
* Effectively manage and prioritise your own workload, and be able to work in a flexible and sensitive manner within a demanding service.
About You / Qualifications
* Be a dynamic and driven person who wants to ensure the CES is delivered to the best of your ability.
* Have a good standard of education; a professional clinical qualification is not essential because experience and knowledge of Community Equipment Service processes and how they work within a local authority are valued.
* As the role involves managing a contract, have experience and knowledge in contractual matters.
* Be able to communicate information at various levels with differing levels of management within the Council and within the supplier hierarchy.
