About the Role

Based in our Central Office in Peterborough and reporting to the HR Services Manager, the Reward and Policy Officer will support the development and implementation of multiple HR projects that will enhance the employee experience at United Learning, with a key focus on benefit management, remuneration and policy development activity.

In this role, you'll lead the management of staff benefits and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring effective supplier relationships and driving engagement through clear communication and data-led improvements. You'll support pay and performance reviews, apply pay frameworks, and carry out research to inform reward strategy. The role also involves drafting and reviewing HR policies, ensuring alignment with employment law and best practice, and supporting implementation across the organisation. Additionally, you'll contribute to wider HR initiatives and maintain relevant HR systems and intranet content.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* A CIPD or a degree level qualification or equivalent.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to research, analyse, and present information and data effectively.
* Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work to challenging timescales.
* Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including specialists in their field.
* Experience of working with benefit schemes and remuneration systems.
* Confidentiality and discretion.
* Willingness to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.

This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover.
