About the Role We are looking for a highly organised, professional, and resilient Executive Support Officer to join our Executive Support Team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will provide high-quality administrative and executive support to Directors, Assistant Directors, and Chief Officers. You will play a critical role in keeping services running smoothly, managing competing priorities, and ensuring senior leaders are supported effectively. As an Executive Support Officer, you will: - Provide high quality, professional and confidential administrative support to Directors, Assistant Directors and Chief Officers. - Act as a first point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally. - Liaise with internal teams, senior managers, Elected Members and external organisations to support service delivery. - Organise and coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and supporting documentation. - Process and monitor correspondence and incoming mail, ensuring timely responses. - Maintain excellent standard of customer care and professionalism at all times. About You We are looking for someone who: - Has proven administrative experience in a busy office environment - Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail - Can manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines - Communicates confidently and professionally, both written and verbally - Has strong interpersonal skills and can build effective working relationships at all levels - Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude - Has excellent IT skills (including Word, Excel, Outlook) - Understands the importance of confidentiality and political sensitivity - Works well both independently and as part of a team - Is committed to delivering excellent customer service Essential qualifications/experience: - GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or relevant experience - Administrative experience and strong organisational skills Desirable: - NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) - Experience supporting senior managers - Customer service training What We Offer We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive employer and offer a range of benefits designed to suit your needs.
