A vacancy has arisen for a Community Waste Officer to work as part of a team, contributing to the delivery of an effective Refuse and Recycling Collection and Street Cleansing service within a geographical area. The role involves providing advice, education, guidance, and information to householders, the commercial sector, local groups, and Community Councils. Additionally, the officer will carry out investigations of offences under the EPA (1990) and other relevant legislation.
This position is based in Stonehaven, covering the Kincardine and Mearns area, with a working week of 36.25 hours, Monday – Friday.
The postholder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
