Role
1. Develop specifications, design drawings, calculations, and any other contract documents through the RIBA work stages.
2. Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
3. Input to pre-qualification and selection of contractors, respond to tender queries, comment and review tender returns.
4. Identify and effectively meet the requirements and expectations of clients.
5. Perform complex tasks with minimal direction and/or supervision.
6. Communicate with other members of the multi discipline design team to ensure design delivery is co-ordinated.
7. Attend site surveys and client concurrence meetings.
8. Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory Authorities and obtain approvals as necessary.
Qualifications / Experience
9. HND/Degree or equivalent certified Electrical Engineer.
10. Use knowledge of electrical building services to educate designs (HV/LV Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Lighting Control, Fire Alarms, Communication Systems, Lightning Protection, Security and Access Control etc.)
11. 5-10 years work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business.
12. Full UK driving licence
