* Role: Support Worker
* Pay Rate: £12.40Per Hour
* Shifts: Days and Nights
* Full-time - 42hours per week
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults to:
* Engage in meaningful activities that reflect their interests, goals, and aspirations
* Build confidence and skills to live as independently as possible
* Access and participate in their local communities, including education, employment, volunteering, and social opportunities
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and professionals
* Make informed choices and have their voice heard in all aspects of their lives
You will provide person-centred support that promotes dignity, respect, and choice, adapting your approach to meet each individual’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support individuals with daily living skills, encouraging independence at every opportunity
* Facilitate community-based activities and meaningful occupation, tailored to individual outcomes
* Promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to person-centred support planning
* Support individuals to manage risks safely while maintaining choice and autonomy
About You:

* Can encourage independence while providing the right level of support
* Communicate clearly and respectfully
* Are reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a supportive team
* Experience in learning disabilities or mental health is welcomed, but not essential – we value the right attitude, values, and willingness to learn.
