Operational Excellence Coordinator

Coloplast is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Operational Excellence Coordinator to support our UK Distribution operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is committed to delivering high-quality training and process improvements.
About the Role
As Operational Excellence Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in onboarding, training, and process documentation across our UK Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance operational standards, support audits, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This is an office based role with collaboration with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own and manage onboarding processes and induction sessions for new starters
2. Coordinate shop floor training, identify skill gaps, and maintain accurate training records
3. Deliver engaging process-related training and support SME development
4. Own and manage process training documentation
5. Local contact for global mandatory training
6. Support training elements for internal and external audits
7. Conduct process audits and drive improvements based on findings
8. Design and implement local processes aligned with global standards
What We’re Looking For
9. Proven experience in training coordination, ideally in a warehouse or operational setting
10. Creating and managing process documentation and revision control skills
11. Excellent communication and coaching abilities
12. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
13. Project management skills
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
15. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (desirable)
16. Familiarity with ISO 9001 & 13485 requirements (desirable)
