The Position
Pharmaceutical Industrial Placement in Biosample and Bioanalytics
We are offering an outstanding non-laboratory, office-based opportunity to two Industrial Placement students with a keen interest in understanding clinical trial development, working with multidisciplinary teams of operational, bioanalytical, and biomarker scientists and technical experts dedicated to supporting the execution of Clinical BioX (biosample, biomarker, and bioanalytics) strategies to translate patient biosamples into medicines across our worldwide early phase clinical studies.
These positions are located in Regulated Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations, a department within the pRED (Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development) organization of Roche, which translates world-class science into medical innovation through a diversity of technologies and talent located across research & development sites worldwide.

* Contributing to the maintenance and application of internal platforms for biosample management.
* Supporting the full biosample lifecycle: strategy, collection, analysis, data reporting, and storage.
* Developing, maintaining, and overseeing essential biosample documentation.
Bioanalytical Learning & Application: You will be supported by BioAnalytical Managers (BAMs) to learn the field and application of regulated bioanalysis.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong collaboration and team-work by participating in stakeholder and vendor meetings, supporting central laboratory meetings, and collaborating with BPLs and BAMs on innovative initiatives.
Digital & Professional Excellence: Apply proficient attention to detail when reviewing and creating documentation and digital plans.
