Post description The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes food, has a strong understanding of the F&B landscape, and can combine commercial drive with an appreciation for quality and provenance. As Business Development Manager, you will take a leading role in expanding La Credenza’s presence across the UK—developing new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting our long-term growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across restaurants, hotels, retail, and wholesale sectors. Build and nurture strong relationships with chefs, buyers, and decision-makers in the hospitality and retail industries. Work closely with our purchasing and logistics teams to ensure seamless service and product availability. Represent La Credenza at trade shows, tastings, and industry events, promoting our brands and products with authenticity and passion. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation. Prepare and deliver tailored product proposals and presentations. Meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong focus on sustainable, long-term growth. Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional initiatives and campaigns. Profile required About You Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food and beverage sector (preferably premium or Italian products). Deep passion for Italian cuisine, ingredients, and culture. Strong network within the hospitality, retail, or fine food industries is a plus. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
