Responsibilities
* Supervise and support students to ensure access to learning, encourage independence, and foster positive behaviour.
* Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans, and Personal Care programmes, while building strong relationships with students and acting as a positive role model.
* Encourage students to reflect on their behaviour and take responsibility for their actions, using restorative approaches where appropriate.
* As part of the on‑call duty team, provide support in lessons when needed and help maintain high standards of achievement, behaviour, and discipline.
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students, and find effective strategies to support improved behaviour.
