We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated primary school teacher to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is evidenced by high-quality professional learning opportunities. The position involves 14 hours per week in the Learning Centre within Hecklegirth Primary School.

Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check prior to formal offer of employment.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check.
