Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role is vital in upholding the safety standards of our organisation while providing excellent customer service. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Monitor entry points to verify identification and authorisation of individuals entering the premises
* Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security risks or irregularities
* Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations
* Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
* Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors courteously and professionally
Experience
* Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
