We are looking to recruit a Head of Governance with a strong understanding of multi-academy trust governance and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. In this role you will be a key part of a small and effective DSAT Services Team and have the opportunity to make a difference to the governance of all our schools across Dorset and Wiltshire, supporting the education of around 5000 children and 900 staff.
As well as direct support for governors and trustees, you will take the lead on managing complaints. We would also like you to take the role of Data Protection Officer for the Trust - full training and external support are provided for this aspect as of the role as required. You will have the support of our Governance Professional in carrying out many of the administrative aspects of governance.
