Exciting times are ahead at Lyme and we are looking for an enthusiastic Programming Assistant to join our team.
As a Programming Assistant, you will play a key part in planning and delivering events and activities for families, ensuring smooth operations, strong communication across departments, and supervising volunteers.
Location
Stockport, 39 miles from Liverpool, UK.
Salary
£13.25 per hour.
Working Pattern
30 hours per week; occasional weekend and evening work required.
Contract Duration
Fixed term until 13 September 2026. Closing date for applications: 3 May 2026.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging family events and activities for the summer programme.
* Ensure events run smoothly and at high standard.
* Coordinate across departments (Gardens, House, Commercial) and supervise volunteers.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
* Team player who can also work independently.
* Adaptable with a flexible approach.
* Understanding of the importance of great service.
* Willingness to learn new things.
* Well organised and able to manage time well.
* Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable groups including children, subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
