About the role
As a Class 2 Driver servicing our logistics operations across England, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll represent DFDS on the road and at customer sites, playing a key role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism.
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods tramping across regional and national routes:
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation
* Loading and unloading goods, ensuring secure and accurate deliveries
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections using handheld devices
* Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
* Representing DFDS with professionalism and courtesy at all times
* Supporting with occasional warehouse duties when required
You'll be part of a friendly and experienced team of drivers, supported by a dedicated Transport Manager who values open communication and teamwork. You'll be driving modern, well-maintained vehicles equipped with the latest telematics and safety technology.
About you

You hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC, and a DIGI Card. You have experience in multi-drop or palletised deliveries and a strong understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations. You're reliable, punctual, and take pride in delivering excellent service. A flexible approach to working hours and nights out is essential.
