The Team
The U.K. & Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UK&I partner closely with global functions such as product, technology and consumer to deliver results for our customers.
The Role
In this role, you will manage relationships with a key grocery partner, acting as the primary contact between them and Deliveroo. Your responsibilities include communicating their needs to internal teams, helping your partners grow their business on the Deliveroo platform, and developing a best-in-class value proposition for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
* Maintain and grow relationships with a key Grocery partner in UKI.
* Drive partner performance by owning your portfolio’s business growth through proactive reporting, meetings, reviews, analysis, improvement projects, and identifying growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement changes and ensure account growth.
* Manage marketing and promotions planning for grocery partners as they scale on the platform. Work cross-functionally with Grocery and Core Marketing teams.
* Develop and ensure an attractive value proposition for customers, including selection, promotions, pricing, and service levels.
* Oversee the execution of grocery site roll-outs, identify coverage gaps, and support expansion efforts.
* Represent Deliveroo within your partner’s organization and coordinate internal stakeholder support as needed.
Requirements:
* 4-5 years of experience in account management or a commercial role. Experience with online or offline grocery retail is a plus.
* Strong relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills, effective across face-to-face, video, phone, or email interactions.
* Comfortable analyzing data to identify performance improvements and making actionable recommendations.
* Creative and strategic thinker with a willingness to trial new ideas rapidly.
