Day Care Assistant
Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire
Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota.
The role is based at Ashton Manor, a state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern environment as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
* Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
* Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
* Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
