The Clinical Team Leader will lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice; with particular reference to the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. They will also assist in leading and monitoring the performance and work of the multi-disciplinary ward staff; supervising the work of Staff Nurses, health‑care Assistants, and student nurses. The Clinical Team Leader will deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager in their absence.
Working as a Clinical Team Leader, this position requires the post holder to support the Ward Manager to provide operational management and leadership to a team of Nursing staff and work effectively alongside a multi‑disciplinary team. You will be closely involved in developing excellent care pathways for patients within our service and support Recovery & User Empowerment at all stages of care and treatment. You will help shape the future of our service and provide high quality care for Users of our Services.
Successful applicants will be required to provide leadership to a team of clinical staff and be seen as a professional role model for nurses. Applicants must be committed to multi‑disciplinary teamwork and have excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support and supervision to a group of nursing staff
