Job Overview
As a Nursing Support Worker in theatre you will provide excellent care for our patients and skilled support for the registrants and the wider theatre team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide skilled assistance to registrants and the perioperative team in the ‘circulating’ role.
* Have knowledge of the specialities affiliated with Withybush General Hospital and provide patient care in accordance with health board policy.
* Participate as a member of the perioperative team and demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work to exact timeframes.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Knowledge of orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, dermatology, gynaecology surgical specialties at Withybush General Hospital.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within strict timeframes.
* Desirable: ability to speak Welsh; English speakers are welcome.
