This represents an exciting opportunity to join a newly established UK operation at the start of a major investment programme that will transform the long-term prospects of both the site and the wider business. As part of a ramp up across their Operations and Engineering functions, the successful candidate will become part of a progressive organisation committed to delivering complex projects for major international clients around the world. The Role: * Provide first line electrical support to the various manufacturing areas on shift, to ensure maximum availability of equipment and services. * Responsible for conducting all aspects of role in a safe manner, to internal standards and procedures and external statutory regulations. * Execute planned maintenance on all relevant equipment using internal systems and priority instructions. * Responding to plant breakdowns and machine change overs ensuring downtime is minimised. The Person: * Candidates should be time served, having completed an electrical related apprenticeship. * Previous experience of working in a multi-skilled heavy engineering / plant related environment. * Systematic approach to problem solving. * Experience of a wide range of electrical and control system equipment, including AC and DC motor/drive systems, PLC fault finding, variable speed motor control, industrial wiring, overhead cranes and related safety systems, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
