Commercial Account Manager - Logistics
Humber Region / Hybrid Working
Salary up to £55,000 + bonus / commission
We are recruiting for a Commercial Account Manager to join an established logistics business in the Humber region.
This is a commercially focused role for someone who can combine business development, account growth and strong customer relationship management with a solid understanding of how logistics services are delivered in practice.
The successful candidate will be confident identifying opportunities, building long-term customer relationships and supporting tailored solutions, while working closely with internal teams to ensure a high standard of service.
This opportunity would suit someone who is commercially driven, operationally aware and comfortable managing both new business activity and existing customer development within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role
* Develop new business opportunities across the region
* Build, manage and grow existing customer relationships
* Identify customer needs and support commercially viable logistics solutions
* Prepare proposals, pricing and quotations
* Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets expectations
* Maintain a strong awareness of market activity and commercial opportunities
* Support long-term account development through proactive relationship management
About You
* Experience in a commercial, sales or account management role within logistics, freight or supply chain services
* Strong understanding of customer requirements and service delivery
* Able to build credibility quickly and develop lasting business relationships
* Commercially astute, proactive and opportunity-focused
* Confident handling customer conversations, proposals and account development
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working across both new business and existing accounts
* Practical, solutions-focused and able to work effectively with operational teams
