We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Stock Controller to manage and maintain our inventory, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Salary: Depending on experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
In this role, you will:
* Monitor daily stock levels to maintain accuracy across warehouses, stores, or distribution points
* Conduct regular stock counts, cyclical counts, and full physical inventories
* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and shrinkage
* Maintain accurate records using stock management or ERP systems
* Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to align stock with demand forecasts
* Review and validate goods received, transfers, and dispatch documentation
* Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices
Essential Criteria:
* Strong understanding of inventory control principles and stock management methodologies
* Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and produce accurate reports
* Knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, or logistics operations
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Problem-solving and investigative mindset
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Integrity and accountability in handling inventory and sensitive information
