Job Description
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts
* Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for the site, providing detailed variance analysis and recommendations.
* Collaborate with department heads to monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
* Manage and improve financial reporting systems to ensure efficiency and clarity.
* Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
* Support the implementation of cost control measures within the organisation.
* Ensure adherence to financial compliance and regulatory standards in all reporting activities.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members within the accounting department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
* A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Experience in a similar environment
* Proven ability to work within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
* Experience in managing or mentoring junior team members is desirable.
