Identified needs may include ASC, dyslexia, speech, language andmunication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.Your new role As the Dyslexia Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting learners with dyslexia and related literacy needs across the school and college. Working under the direction of the Head of English, you will design and deliver structured, cumulative and multisensory programmes—both one‑to‑one and in small groups—to help learners achieve their full potential.Your responsibilities will include:
1. Creating bespoke, person‑centred learning resources for students with dyslexia.
2. Supporting learners in class and during targeted intervention sessions, ensuring effective access to the curriculum.
3. Collaborating with teachers to plan and adapt learning activities.
4. Delivering remote learning materials where needed.
5. Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate assessment records and providing regular feedback.
6. Acting as a role model and contributing to staff mentoring, coaching and development.
