What if that person was you? AWE is currently recruiting a Head of Transformation to join our Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the transformation of the infrastructure programme, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision, objectives, and standards of the organisation and the regulatory bodies. We are looking for someone to oversee and drive the delivery of the transformation of the infrastructure programme, which involves a complex and large-scale change from a project-based approach to a programme-based approach. The Head of Transformation will ensure that the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality, while meeting the expectations and requirements of the stakeholders, customers, and regulators. They will also ensure that the programme is aligned with the organisation's strategic vision, values, and culture, and that the benefits of the transformation are realised and sustained. Key Accountabilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive and robust transformation strategy and plan for the infrastructure programme, in collaboration with the Programme Director, the Executive Team, and other key stakeholders. Establish and maintain effective governance, risk management, and reporting mechanisms for the transformation, ensuring compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures, and the regulatory standards and frameworks. Lead and manage the transformation team, consisting of internal and external resources, and provide clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful delivery of the transformation objectives and outcomes. Manage the change impact and readiness assessment, and design and execute a communication and engagement plan, to ensure that the transformation is understood, supported, and adopted by the organisation and the relevant stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of the transformation, and identify and resolve any issues, risks, or dependencies that may arise, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation as appropriate. Manage the budget and resources for the transformation and ensure that the transformation delivers value for money and return on investment. Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with the organisation's senior leadership, the programme sponsors, the customers, the regulators, and other external partners, and ensure that the transformation meets their expectations and requirements. Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the transformation team and the organisation, and ensure that the transformation leverages best practices and lessons learned from previous or similar programmes. Ensure that the transformation outcomes and benefits are measured, tracked, and reported, and that the transformation is transitioned and handed over to the business-as-usual operations in a smooth and effective manner. Qualifications and/or professional memberships: A degree or higher in a relevant field. A professional certification or accreditation in project management, change management, or business transformation. Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of the regulatory bodies that deal with AWE and the relevant processes that need to be adhered to. Location: Reading / Basingstoke area.
