Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall management of our facility, ensuring that high standards of care and education are maintained. The Deputy Manager will assist in the daily operations and contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Duties
* Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional childcare services while fostering a positive team environment.
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote early childhood development.
* Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders regarding children's progress and wellbeing.
* Assist in managing staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care.
* Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the nursery environment at all times.
* Handle administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
* Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or early childhood education environment.
* Strong understanding of childcare regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with staff and parents.
* Qualifications in Early Childhood Education to level 3 or above. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
