Workday HRIS Specialist (12-Month Fixed Term)
About the Opportunity
A well-established client is looking for a experienced HRIS Specialist to join their HR team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a maternity cover position supporting the EMEA region, offering the chance to work at the heart of people data operations within a collaborative and forward-thinking HR team.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two weeks look the same. Your core focus will be owning the HRIS platform (Workday Core HCM) and ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and actionable insights across the business.
Day-to-day, you can expect to:
* Act as the internal subject matter expert for Workday, fielding queries and resolving system issues across HR and Finance teams globally
* Produce regular and ad-hoc reports — from monthly headcount summaries to absence trend analysis — presenting findings clearly to senior stakeholders
* Manage the full employee lifecycle administratively: offer letters, contracts, probation tracking, salary letters, and leaver processes
* Maintain absence records including leave, sickness, maternity/paternity, SSP coordination, and payroll time-tracking reports
* Deliver Workday onboarding training to new joiners
* Support HR project work and general administrative duties as the team requires
* Liaise with Finance and HR managers across regions to keep employment data consistent and up to date
What We're Looking For
* Solid hands-on experience with Workday (Core HCM essential)
* At least two years in an HRIS or HR operations role, including database management and reporting
* Advanced Excel skills; confident with Word and PowerPoint
* Strong communicator who can build trust with stakeholders at all levels
* Detail-oriented, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities
* Working knowledge of data protection requirements and their practical application in HR
This role is fully office-based in Windsor, five days per week.
