We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Social Worker to join our Adult Social Work Team. Our team supports adults in a variety of circumstances with a range of needs, including older adults, individuals with acute and enduring mental health needs, physical disabilities, and autism.
As a Social Worker in our team, you will play a crucial role in assessment, case management, and review whilst ensuring and supporting the crucial delivery of care to those most at risk.
You will also contribute to fulfilling our responsibilities under Adult Support and Protection legislation and take part in our fast-paced and effective duty system.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and assessment skills, who can work flexibility across a range of team responsibilities within a supportive, dynamic team as well as autonomously when required.

Please Note:
All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK. Where an application for home-working is supported, it will be subject to a satisfactory trial period. Employees will be expected to attend Council offices for the duration of induction, and be on site in East Lothian workplaces, as required. Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.
