Prisons are challenging yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals.

* Join a diverse and supportive team of Psychological Therapists, PWPs, nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
* Work across multiple prison sites; travel and driving ability are essential as some sites are not accessible by public transport.
* Be part of an integrated model from arrest to release, contributing to the full process and journey of the service user.
* Contribute to building, shaping and growing the service with opportunities to share ideas.
Qualifications
* Qualified applicants will hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies.
Service Model and Team
We are able to offer our team members opportunities to continue developing expertise via training and development opportunities in different parts of our service. The role will be based across the 3 prisons and sits within NSFT Secure Mental Health Services, part of a wider NSFT Secure Services Psychology Team with clinical supervision and governance support.
What makes us different
Our service uses an integrated model from arrest to release from prison, allowing a PWP and the wider team to know the full process and journey of the service user. This collaborative and joined-up approach is central to how we work, and we welcome your ideas.
Location and Travel
The role will be based across three prisons; ability to drive and travel independently is essential.
What we can offer
NSFT Secure Mental Health Services have been consistently rated "Good" by the CQC. Our secure services are part of a wide and growing body of clinical services linked to criminal justice settings. This is not a standalone role; you will receive excellent clinical supervision, professional and governance support as part of the wider NSFT Secure Services Psychology Team.
