Synergy Personnel is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our client in Swindon, Wiltshire, to make a positive impact within a growing business. The role involves managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to £30m.
Our client undertakes diverse and interesting projects, ranging from traditional refurbishment to complex new build design and build, with values between £1m and £30m.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning all aspects of the project, identifying challenges, and proposing imaginative and cost-effective solutions.
2. Ensuring compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
3. Eliminating health, safety, and financial risks during construction.
4. Maintaining a steady flow of quality information to keep the project on schedule.
5. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and maintaining open, clear dialogue.
What You Will Bring:
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Commercial awareness.
* A broad understanding of procurement methods, including frameworks, negotiated, and two-stage tenders.
Experience:
* Previous experience in similar roles.
* Understanding of traditional construction and Design & Build (D&B).
* Thorough knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Proficiency with software such as BIM and 4Projects.
