Teaching Personnel is seeking PGCE students and aspiring teachers to work as Teaching Assistants in local primary and secondary schools across Newport and Blackwood. This role is ideal for anyone working toward QTS and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.
The Role:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Work with pupils of all abilities across various year groups
* Assist with behaviour management and learning support
* Opportunity to transition into a teaching role post-QTS
✅ Requirements:
* Working towards or recently completed QTS
* Child-only DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* EWC registration (or willing to register)
* Flexible and confident in the classroom
