About this job
Job purpose/summary:
Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and use clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis.
Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients.
Ensure all treatment provided are based on evidence and best practice.
Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate clinical software.
Responsibilities
* Innovation and development of services.
* High QOF, KPIs and Enhanced Services targets consistently achieved.
* All sites use EMIS Web clinical system and Docman.
* Integrated telephony.
Successful track record of additional service delivery as part of the local GP network, including Primary Care Network and other bespoke services.
What we are looking for
Ideal candidates will be GPs who will hold the appropriate qualification.
The successful candidate will require effective communication, clinical and problem-solving skills and be self-motivated.
Within this position you will be required to demonstrate reliable clinical reasoning and have a positive enthusiastic approach to working within our multi‑disciplinary team.
