Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Duties:
* Undertake and manage complex Geotechnical aspects of multidisciplinary project design using industry standard software.
* Ensure team members are comparing options and materials, and undertaking carbon calculations to help find lowest carbon solutions and reduce environmental impacts of projects.
* Technically and financially responsible for multiple projects, facilitating project deliverables within internal and external design teams.
* Playing an active part in team growth and management, and in day-to-day practice systems.
* Delivery of Geotechnical services to other disciplines at the consultancy.
* Act as an ambassador to clients, reflecting the ethos and values of the consultancy.
* Look to innovate and develop designs systems alongside their teams nationally and internationally.
* Ensure sustainability is at the heart of all work.
* Carry out performance and development reviews for team members.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
* 5+ years’ experience
* Chartered (CEng MICE) or near as a Civil Engineer, or as an Geologist (CGeol)
* BEng/Meng degree in Civil Engineering
* In-depth experience and current working knowledge of Geotechnical software essential
* Onshore project experience.
