Join our fantastic Wellbeing team as a Health and Wellbeing Employment Coach.
The aim of this role is to develop a holistic health and employment approach with customers, focusing on Health and Wellbeing needs or Neurodiversity. You will identify challenges around finding, starting, and sustaining suitable employment.
Through 1:1 coaching, you'll support customers to build self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, and create a solid foundation for emotional wellbeing. You will work with them to secure and sustain employment, managing your own caseload, organizing your time, and recording session data onto the content management system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support customers in job search and employment readiness.
2. Identify potential barriers to employment.
3. Ensure employability tools such as CVs, cover letters, and speculative letters are prepared.
4. Deliver performance outputs against targets and contractual requirements.
5. Perform health assessments to identify health challenges affecting employment.
6. Provide health advice and support addressing health-specific barriers.
7. Identify evidence-based interventions suited to customers' mental and physical health needs.
8. Promote the value of work for health and wellbeing, building confidence and practical skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience supporting and guiding individuals using action planning techniques.
* Experience delivering health or wellbeing programs or coaching.
* Experience in health promotion, public health, or vocational rehabilitation.
* Knowledge of local labour markets.
* Experience working in target-driven environments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
* Qualified health professional (HCPC, BACP, BABCP).
* Knowledge of employability sector and local labour market.
* Experience with 'information, advice & guidance' services.
* Experience working with disabled individuals (Disability Confident).
We offer a salary of £26,000 to £29,545 p.a. plus benefits including annual leave, pension, health allowances, and more.
