Location: Newmarket, CB8 7PJ
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (until end of October 2025)
Salary: £15.01 per hour, 42 hours per week
Working Pattern: 6 days per week, with shifts from 4am to 12pm or 12pm to 8pm

Your Role:
As our Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be the heart of our kitchen, preparing a delightful array of traditional Indian dishes—from rich curries and tandoori specialties to aromatic biryanis and freshly baked breads. Your expertise will help shape our menu and ensure every dining experience is exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
* Craft Authentic Indian Flavors: Prepare a diverse selection of traditional Indian dishes with care and consistency.
* Master the Art of Indian Breads: Skillfully create fresh roti, naan, paratha, and chapati using traditional techniques.
* Ingredient Excellence: Use only the freshest, top-quality ingredients and expertly handle spices to preserve true Indian flavors.
* Maintain a Spotless Kitchen: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety throughout all stages of preparation and service.
* Deliver with Precision: Manage time effectively to ensure dishes are served promptly, especially during peak service hours.
* Keep the Kitchen Stocked: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels for ingredients and kitchen equipment.
* Team Player Mindset: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow kitchen staff for smooth and efficient operations.
* Bring Fresh Ideas to the Table: Contribute your culinary creativity to menu development with innovative or regional Indian dishes.
About You:
* 5+ years of experience as a chef specializing in authentic Indian cuisine.
* Deep knowledge of Indian spices, regional cooking styles, and traditional preparation techniques.
* Ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for delivering high-quality, flavorful food.
