Job Title: Freelance Marketing & Creative Assistant (Part-Time)
Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible)
Reports to: General Manager
About the Role:-
We're looking for a creative all-rounder to help bring our store's marketing to life If you love design, social media, and finding fun ways to engage customers both online and in-store, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a part-time position in person/remotely (16 hours per week approx), with plenty of variety – from refreshing our website and curating newsletters to creating eye-catching promotions and managing seasonal campaigns.
What You'll Be Doing:-
* Running our Facebook and Instagram pages with fresh, engaging content (other platforms welcome too)
* Giving our website some love – updating, refreshing, and keeping things looking sharp
* Designing promotional materials – from in-store point-of-sale to road banners and seasonal campaign assets
* Creating and sending our Highdown Members newsletter monthly, keeping our community connected and in the loop
* Helping plan and manage advertising campaigns for events and seasonal promotions
* Keeping our brand identity consistent across everything we do
* Working closely with the Store Leadership team to bring new ideas to the table
What We're Looking For:-
* Someone with hands-on experience running Facebook and Instagram (essential)
* A creative eye and some design know-how (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
* Comfortable updating and maintaining websites (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
* Great communicator with strong writing skills for social posts and newsletters (Experience with email marketing tools e.g. Mailchimp or similar)
* Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage projects independently
* Bonus points if you've worked in retail, events, or consumer-facing marketing before
