Behaviour Support Assistant – Full-Time | Preston | Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting a committed SEN Behaviour Support Assistant to join a high-needs school in Preston. This is a full-time position, initially offered on a temporary basis through our agency, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including SEMH, autism, ADHD, and behavioural difficulties
* Promote emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour strategies
* Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering targeted interventions
* Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs and challenging behaviour
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Calm, consistent, and empathetic approach
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
Position Details:
* Location: Blackpool
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
* Start Date: Immediate or September start available
* Pay: Competitive, paid weekly via agency
* Contract: Temp to perm opportunity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
