Location: Follingsby Park
We are currently recruiting reliable and customer-focused Driver's Mates to join a well-established sofa delivery company based in Follingsby Park, Gateshead. This is a physically active, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and providing excellent service to customers.

Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday
* Working hours: 07:00 - 18:00
* Occasional weekends required

Pay Rate
* £12.67 per hour

The Role
* Assisting the driver with the delivery of sofas and furniture to customers' homes
* Loading and unloading heavy items safely and efficiently
* Ensuring deliveries are completed in a professional and customer-friendly manner
* Communicating clearly with customers during deliveries
* Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times
* Supporting the driver to ensure routes and schedules are completed on time

The Candidate
* Physically fit and able to carry out heavy manual handling
* Comfortable working in a customer-facing role
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Positive attitude with good communication skills
* Previous delivery or driver's mate experience is desirable but not essential
