We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Office & Sales Administrator to join our team. If you're someone who loves staying organised and enjoys working in a friendly and casual atmosphere, this role is for you. You'll be supporting our sales team, preparing quotes, commercial emails and updating our CRM system. Your strong attention to detail and professional computer skills will be key to your success.

The ideal candidate has experience in an office or sales administration role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector. A great personality and excellent communication skills are a must. While any experience with international shipping or exports is a bonus, it's not required—we provide full, one-on-one training for all our processes, including a library of training videos.

You may have worked in the following capacities:

ABI Electronics Ltd (www.abielectronics.co.uk) is a leading supplier of sustainable test and measurement equipment as well as a renowned contract electronics manufacturer. Candidate Requirements

Candidates must live within commuting distance of ABI’s main office in Dodworth, Barnsley S75 3SP and be able to work on site for up to 38 hours a week between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am and 12:00 pm on Friday. ABI is looking for candidates with the following skills:

* You have good communication skills, both verbal and written
* You are open and ready to learn from others, and you are aware that they may want to learn from you
* You are an organised person, and you are very capable of juggling multiple tasks effectively
* You have order processing experience using MRP systems
* You have experience dealing with general office duties such as making travel arrangements for ABI employees and visiting customers
* You are happy to speak to customers and distributors in person and over the phone
* You have shipping and export experience (UK and International), including temporary imports (IPR)

Bonus Skills

* You have experience logging and organising payments on accounting software (i.e. SAGE)
* You are familiar with setting up payment requests using PayPal
* You speak a foreign language, including but not limited to Spanish, German, Chinese or French.
* You are familiar with AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT
