T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative global manufacturing business who focus on the development and reengineering of industrial machinery for a variety of sectors, to help them to recruit a Quality Engineer.
As a Quality Engineer you will work closely with the wider Quality team to take responsibility for compliance across the site, improving the businesses Quality Management Systems whilst also promoting a right first-time culture.
Key Responsibilities as a Quality Engineer
* Development and management of internal processes in line with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
* Ensuring high levels of Quality and compliance across all areas of the site.
* Development and sign off of new quality documentation with wider quality team prior to NPI and or new processes being introduced on site.
* Involvement in both APQP and PPAP.
* Management of NCRs, from initial discovery alongside inspectors through to verification and closure with customers.
Requirements to be a successful Quality Engineer
* Proven experience within a similar quality engineering role.
* Experience working within both ISO9001 and AS9100 frameworks.
* Previous experience of APQP and or PPAP desirable.
* A strong understanding / ability to interpret, analyse and read engineering drawings.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Fantastic communication skills with a great attention for detail.
The role will be based from the companies headquarters in Rugby, with a salary of £45,000 initially budgeted depending on experience.
