We are working with an established and reputable law firm in Canterbury who is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Secretary to join its friendly team. This is a key opportunity for a legal secretary with solid experience in commercial property law and strong audio typing skills to become a valued member of a busy department. Key responsibilities: Providing full secretarial support to the Partner, including audio typing via digital dictation Preparing and formatting legal documentation such as leases, deeds, Land Registry forms, and completion statements Handling all aspects of commercial property transactions: ordering searches, obtaining Companies House documents, and dealing with exchange and completion Managing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) calculations, submissions, and payments Liaising with clients, agents, and other solicitors as needed Coordinating diary appointments and monitoring key deadlines for the Partner Managing client files from opening through to archiving, ensuring efficient file maintenance and compliance Supporting with general administrative tasks such as reception cover, post distribution, and team support when requiredRequirements: Previous experience working in a commercial property legal secretary role is essential Proven ability to carry out audio typing using digital dictation Confident communication skills with a client-focused, professional manner Excellent attention to detail and strong organisa...
