The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivatedMechanical Fitterto join our team. This role involves repairing and maintaining a range of industrial rotating equipment, includingAC & DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, fan units, generators, and other associated machinery.
Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter:
* Diagnose faults, dismantle, and repair industrial equipment.
* Test, inspect, and service motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
* Handle a wide variety of components, from small fan units to large-scale industrial motors.
* Provide clear fault reports and relay findings to management.
* Occasionally travel to client sites using a company vehicle (site work experience & CCNSG passport advantageous).
* Maintain high health and safety standards.
Requirements for the Mechanical Fitter:
City & Guilds Engineering Qualification
Mechanical Fitter Experience
Previous experience stripping down pumps, motors, gearboxes
* Understand technical drawings
