Assistant Director – Policy
Location: London / Hybrid
Contract: Fixed-term until August 2026 (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience

Our client is a leading UK membership organisation based in London and is looking for a strategic and experienced Associate Director of Policy & Public Affairs to lead on long-term savings and investment policy.
This high-profile role is central to influencing policy outcomes that affect millions of consumers and a critical sector of the UK economy.
About the Role
This is a senior leadership role in a collaborative policy and advocacy team. You’ll take ownership of a complex portfolio covering investment regulation, pensions and financial advice, working closely with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set and deliver strategy on key long-term savings issues, working with colleagues across teams to align policy and public affairs efforts.
2. Engage with central government departments, regulators, and wider stakeholders to build consensus and shape the external policy environment.
