Commercial Administrator (Temporary – Potential to Go Permanent)

Office-based role in West Glasgow
Working hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, Friday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor based in the West of Glasgow who is looking to bring in a Commercial Administrator on an initial temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This position has arisen due to increased workload and the need to support a busy commercial team. While the long-term requirement is still being assessed, there is a strong possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right individual.
The Role:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial team
Assist with documentation, reporting, and general commercial processes
Support Senior Quantity Surveyors across multiple live projects
Maintain accurate records and assist with systems and project tracking
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Commercial Administrator or similar role
Ideally, some exposure to the construction or civil engineering sector
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment
