Working alongside experienced analysts and senior pricing specialists, you’ll support our Acquisition trading performance through hands-on coding, analysis and commercial insight. This isn’t a behind the scenes technical or theoretical pricing role it’s a practical, fast paced analytical position where your work directly shapes business decisions.

What You’ll Do
Pricing & Insight
1. Deliver clear, timely analysis that supports daily and weekly Acquisition trading activity
2. Identify and evaluate pricing opportunities backed by performance data and market insight
3. Formulate pricing actions that improve commercial outcomes
4. Use coding skills (such as SQL) to extract, structure and interpret data
5. Report on pricing performance and produce MI that highlights opportunities for action
6. Balance accuracy with pace and delivering analysis that is robust, pragmatic and commercially focused
7. Support development of the Breakdown Pricing Strategy in response to regulatory change
Governance & Execution
8. Follow structured processes to ensure accurate, timely deployment of price changes
9. Evaluate opportunities that leverage RAC’s unique data and capabilities
10. Present insight clearly to stakeholders, highlighting commercial impact
11. Ensure pricing activity remains compliant with governance and sign‑off frameworks
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
12. Partner with the Acquisition Squad, commercial teams, Data Management and IT
13. Build effective working relationships and confidently engage with senior stakeholders
14. Operate as part of a highly supportive Pricing team with strong coaching, mentoring and development
15. Contribute positively to a fast‑moving, collaborative environment
What You’ll Bring
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
16. 1–2+ years’ experience in Pricing, Analytics, Finance, Insurance, Banking or a similar field
17. Strong SQL skills (essential)
18. Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
19. Experience with modelling tools (Emblem, R, Python) beneficial but not essential
20. Exposure to optimisation tools (Radar Optimiser, Earnix) helpful but not required
21. Comfortable working with commercial targets, budgets and performance metrics
22. Understanding of analytical or pricing techniques

Qualifications
30. Degree (2:1 or above) in a numerical discipline

This role follows a hybrid model, with required office attendance in our Bradley Stoke, Bristol office on Tues & Wed.
Salary up to 35k depending on experience + 8% conditional annual bonus.
