Working alongside experienced analysts and senior pricing specialists, you’ll support our Acquisition trading performance through hands-on coding, analysis and commercial insight. This isn’t a behind the scenes technical or theoretical pricing role it’s a practical, fast paced analytical position where your work directly shapes business decisions.

What You’ll Do
Pricing & Insight
Deliver clear, timely analysis that supports daily and weekly Acquisition trading activityIdentify and evaluate pricing opportunities backed by performance data and market insightFormulate pricing actions that improve commercial outcomesUse coding skills (such as SQL) to extract, structure and interpret dataReport on pricing performance and produce MI that highlights opportunities for actionBalance accuracy with pace and delivering analysis that is robust, pragmatic and commercially focusedSupport development of the Breakdown Pricing Strategy in response to regulatory changeGovernance & Execution
Follow structured processes to ensure accurate, timely deployment of price changesEvaluate opportunities that leverage RAC’s unique data and capabilitiesPresent insight clearly to stakeholders, highlighting commercial impactEnsure pricing activity remains compliant with governance and sign‑off frameworksCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
1–2+ years’ experience in Pricing, Analytics, Finance, Insurance, Banking or a similar fieldStrong SQL skills (essential)Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving abilityExperience with modelling tools (Emblem, R, Python) beneficial but not essentialExposure to optimisation tools (Radar Optimiser, Earnix) helpful but not requiredComfortable working with commercial targets, budgets and performance metricsUnderstanding of analytical or pricing techniquesPersonal Attributes

This role follows a hybrid model, with required office attendance in our Bradley Stoke, Bristol office on Tues & Wed.
Salary up to 35k depending on experience + 8% conditional annual bonus.
